A Flip Case Study
DHBW, the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, needed a better way to communicate with first-year students in its Consumer Goods Trade Program. Before working with Flip, the team relied on private messengers and email, which led to delayed communication, lost information, and repeated outreach across multiple channels.
Flip provided a clear, intuitive app that the program used exclusively to communicate with students. The results were strong: 100% of respondents said they could reach their course director well, 100% could ask questions quickly and without complications, and satisfaction with schedule information and filtered course-relevant updates rose sharply. Compared with the non-Flip group, “strongly agree” that lecture schedule information was up to date increased from 40.74% to 93.33%, and immediate awareness of last-minute lecture changes rose from 66.67% to 100%.
