Innospec Inc., a global specialty chemicals company headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, faced a complex compliance and visibility challenge: multiple reporting systems (3–4) produced inconsistent, often inaccurate data across trade activity, agent commissions and freight costs, undermining margin control and regulatory monitoring. Seeking an integrated solution to consolidate systems and improve operational monitoring, Innospec selected Flintfox and its Revenue Management functionality to work with their new ERP.

Flintfox implemented its Revenue Management solution integrated into Innospec’s ERP, providing commission visibility at the sales-order level, automated commission calculations, and the ability to define unlimited customer/item inclusions or exclusions to calculate built-in freight costs per trade agreement. As a result, Flintfox helped Innospec correctly capture tens of millions in freight expenditure in the ERP, reduce unrecovered freight charges, increase profit margins, centralize commission calculation and payment into one system, and deliver real‑time, accurate data to support compliance and margin management.
