The Municipality of Vlaardingen, with approximately 500 employees across nine departments, sought a solution to facilitate flexible working and make it easy for staff to locate colleagues and available workspaces. They turned to the vendor Flexwhere to implement a system for desk and room booking.

Flexwhere provided its workplace and conference room booking modules. The solution allows employees to quickly find and reserve a free desk or see where a colleague is sitting via a computer application. Small touchscreens outside each team room enable easy reservations in 15-minute increments. As a result, Flexwhere has become one of the organization's most important and frequently used daily applications, making hybrid working simple and efficient for the entire municipality.
