Quadrillion Partners helped a global middle market high-tech manufacturer facing a plant closure and the need to quickly rethink where products should be made, what should be sourced from different regions, and how those changes would affect costs, capacity, and customer delivery times. To support strategic planning, Quadrillion partnered with FlexSim Software to build a global manufacturing simulation model.

FlexSim Software implemented a cross-functional simulation using FlexSim’s Process Flow tool and Excel-based data imports to model orders, plants, logistics, costs, staffing, and delivery times across six factories and more than 75,000 SKUs. The model enabled scenario testing for volume pooling, plant consolidation, and capacity constraints, helping Quadrillion Partners increase pooling across Asia, support consolidation from six factories to five, and justify expanding lower-cost imports into higher-cost regions for certain product families.

Quadrillion Partners
