Tricon Energy Takes the First Step Towards Sustainability with Flexport.org

Tricon Energy, a global trade and distribution company based in Houston, Texas, launched a sustainability program and needed a way to track and understand its carbon footprint. With no established system for sustainability data, the team turned to Flexport.org and Flexport’s online emissions tool to estimate logistics-related emissions across road, rail, and ocean freight.

Flexport helped Tricon Energy gain the data needed for its first sustainability report and to build the business case for its goals. As a result, Tricon achieved gold status in EcoVadis sustainability ratings, marking a 24-point improvement from its initial assessment two years earlier.
