O My Bag, a purpose-driven bag company producing goods in India and selling globally, wanted to better understand and reduce the emissions from shipping to its warehouse in the Netherlands and to customers worldwide. The company turned to Flexport and its sustainability tools to get clearer insight into the carbon impact of air versus ocean freight and improve its shipping decisions.

With Flexport’s low-carbon fuels program, O My Bag partnered with GoodShipping to buy marine biofuel reduction certificates, helping address transportation emissions. Using Flexport, the company reduced its emissions footprint by 18% in 2021, insetting 45% of emissions through GoodShipping and offsetting the remaining 55% with certified projects.
