Framework Offsets 1000+ Carbon Tons with Flexport.org

Framework, the consumer electronics company focused on repairing and rebuilding laptops for longer product life, wanted to strengthen its sustainability efforts while addressing the environmental impact of shipping. In 2022, Framework partnered with Flexport.org, Flexport’s impact arm, to add carbon offsetting to all freight and parcel shipments.

Flexport made the program easy to launch because it was already integrated into the platform. As a result, Framework has offset 1,100 tons of carbon since the partnership began, equivalent to planting 212 acres of forest in a year.
