Lloyd’s Register Foundation, a UK charity that supports engineering-related research and the protection of life and property, was managing 80 active grants using paper, spreadsheets and email. Faced with a two-part grant scheme (awards from £2,000 to £2m) and complex workflows across applications, peer review and finance, they engaged Flexigrant and its Flexi-Grant® platform to replace their manual processes with a dedicated grants management system.

Flexigrant configured and implemented Flexi-Grant® to deliver online applications, Excel export, robust reporting and monitoring, individual applicant records and historic search, contact/task management, automated correspondence and personal sign-in. The deployment gave Lloyd’s Register Foundation more efficient management of their grants portfolio—streamlining application processing, monitoring spend and payments, and making it far easier for Grants Services and Finance teams to produce internal reports and approve payments.
