Mercury Insurance Group, which represents 20 insurance and non-insurance companies and has served customers for over 50 years, needed a flexible accounting system to handle a complex environment (including 25-character GL strings) and to adapt to M&A, regulatory changes and growth. To address this, Mercury implemented Flexi Software’s accounting platform, using modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset Management and Reporting.

Flexi Software delivered a single, open platform with a flexible Chart of Accounts, consolidated reporting and integrated fixed-asset tracking (thousands of items), and supported expanded payment methods like ACH and credit cards. The result was real-time, detailed reports that tie back to the GL, faster auditor responses, streamlined consolidation across 20 companies and measurable gains in accounting efficiency — supported by nearly a decade of Flexi Software service.
