By adopting Flexera’s FlexNet Electronic Software Delivery (2002) and FlexNet Operations On‑Demand (2005), Sybase automated distribution and entitlement management and enabled self‑service downloads. The change cut per‑unit distribution costs by more than 80%, brought manufacturing in‑house and allowed closure of its EMEA distribution center, while delivering strong customer satisfaction (about 92.8% download satisfaction and 85.5% licensing satisfaction) and a clearer competitive advantage.
