Suva, Switzerland’s largest accident insurer with more than $326.5 million in revenue, manages over 350 software solutions across roughly 5,000 client and server endpoints. After Flexera acquired Brainwaregroup and support for Suva’s Spider tool was slated to end, Suva needed a new software lifecycle and IT asset management solution to retain control of licenses and contracts and to reduce spend and compliance risk.

SoftwareONE implemented Flexera’s tailored SLM solution and managed the migration across 5,000 endpoints—inventorying infrastructure, validating Microsoft and Oracle licenses, importing licenses/contracts, and continuously checking data quality. The project cut Suva’s IT workload, delivered full software transparency, enabled rightsizing and measurable cost savings, reduced compliance risk, and supported better tactical and strategic decisions.
