Kuoni, a Swiss-founded global travel and destination management company with operations in nearly 100 countries and about 10,000 employees, faced high IT costs, heavy service-desk workloads and slow software delivery due to manual request and deployment processes. Its legacy deployment tool required frequent manual intervention and could not scale to support growing application needs and rapid user onboarding from mergers and acquisitions.

Kuoni replaced the old system with Microsoft SCCM 2012, Flexera App Portal for a self-service enterprise app store, and AdminStudio for automated packaging. The change automated approvals, license enforcement and fulfillment, cut routine service-desk work and sped software delivery—ultimately enabling around 10,000 employees access to 200+ applications, accelerating VDI rollout and simplifying onboarding for acquired teams (with 2,500 users and 100+ apps already live).
