A Flexential Case Study
VeriDaaS, a Denver-based geospatial company, builds a national high-definition LiDAR data library and delivers it as a Data-as-a-Service product to utilities, government and commercial customers. To map the U.S. at scale—collecting thousands of square kilometers and up to 30 TB of LiDAR data per day—VeriDaaS needed a reliable, highly scalable IT infrastructure but preferred not to manage it in-house, so it sought colocation.
VeriDaaS deployed in Flexential’s Denver–Englewood facility for colocation, object storage and high-capacity interconnection, gaining high power density, redundant power/cooling, 100% SLAs, robust security and a 100 Gbps (scalable to 400 Gbps) network. The result: VeriDaaS doubled its data center footprint within two years, avoided downtime during massive data transfers and processing, and strengthened its market credibility with investors and customers.
