How Heathrow used FlexDeploy in support their transformative journey to the Cloud

Heathrow began a business and technology transformation in 2020 that included moving from Oracle E-Business Suite in a private cloud to Oracle Cloud ERP and OCI services. Faced with labor‑intensive, manual processes for managing infrastructure, code, configurations and environment migrations, Heathrow — working with Capgemini — sought end‑to‑end automation and visibility and selected Flexagon’s FlexDeploy to support the cloud journey.

FlexDeploy was configured to automate and orchestrate Heathrow’s full delivery lifecycle, with native support for Oracle Integration Cloud, APEX, Database and infrastructure as code, plus integrations with Azure DevOps Git and Azure Key Vault. As a result (per Heathrow), Flexagon’s FlexDeploy enabled fully automated release pipelines, faster environment refreshes, the ability to turn cloud environments on/off to save costs, and reduced release times from a day to hours — delivering quicker, slicker and more reliable deployments across the estate.
