How FlexDeploy Helped Amway Prepare for an Enterprise-Wide DevOps Strategy

Amway Global, one of the world’s largest direct selling companies with ~21,000 employees, faced a crossroads when their nine-year-old HP PPM deployment tool lacked support for Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 and would have required costly upgrades and extra licenses. Needing a solution that could handle E-Business Suite deployments, integrate with JIRA, and support an enterprise DevOps strategy, Amway selected Flexagon’s FlexDeploy to replace PPM.

Flexagon worked with Amway through an EBS beta, delivered FlexDeploy in a three-week implementation, and helped customize a JIRA plugin via FlexDeploy’s REST APIs. The solution now supports 28 EBS instances, handles more object types than PPM (eliminating manual steps), enabled push‑button releases for the release management team, and delivered the cost savings and faster, more reliable DevOps and Continuous Delivery capabilities Amway required.
