MachineMax takes fast lane to global analytics platform deployment with Flex

MachineMax set out to track and manage every off‑highway machine on earth but lacked the in‑house electronics and manufacturing expertise to move quickly from prototype to global product. Facing pressure to prove the concept and scale internationally, MachineMax partnered with Flex and used Flex’s iENBL IoT development platform plus product testing support to accelerate hardware development, certification and pilot builds.

Flex provided the iENBL platform, iterative hardware design, pilot device manufacture and global volume manufacturing support, enabling MachineMax to move from concept to a production‑ready device in under a year (about half the time of other partners). As a result of Flex’s prototyping‑to‑volume approach, MachineMax rolled the solution out in six countries within four months of launch, gained confidence to pursue multinational deployments, and is now exploring additional connectivity options (low‑power cellular) supported by the iENBL platform.
