A Flex Case Study

Preview of the Schneider Electric Case Study

Delivering Innovative Wireless Sensors with Speed

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, needed a partner to co-develop and manufacture three models of its next‑generation self‑powered wireless thermal sensor, the Easergy TH110/EMS59440. Facing pressure to move the product from early prototype to mass production on an accelerated schedule, Schneider Electric selected Flex to provide rapid, end‑to‑end development and manufacturing support.

Flex delivered co‑development services including cutting‑edge connectivity design, RF expertise, mechanical integration, software/hardware testing, packaging, and engineering support, leveraging design work from its Sweden site and volume production at its Batam, Indonesia facility. As a result, the product reached market in 10 months and Flex Batam ramped to an expected 15,000 units per month from 2019, with Schneider Electric citing excellent time‑to‑market and quality.
