Cactus Jack’s Auto, Arizona’s largest Buy Here Pay Here dealership with nine locations, specializes in financing used cars for drivers with poor credit and has been a Spireon GoldStar GPS customer since 2011. Prior to full GPS adoption they had 1,800 accounts flagged with their repo department and were actively searching for 150 vehicles; after a six-month search many were written off as total losses, representing 8% of accounts.

By installing Spireon GoldStar GPS devices fleetwide and improving installation and verification processes, Cactus Jack’s cut recovery time and costs, retained $592,800 in working capital, and realized 66% repossession savings. Vehicles being searched fell to 140 (3% of accounts), average repossession costs dropped from $250–$300 to $175, monthly write-offs fell from 15 to 5, and average savings per vehicle was about $100.
