Case Study: JW Danforth achieves centralized fleet records and streamlined maintenance vendor management with Fleetio

A Fleetio Case Study

Preview of the JW Danforth Case Study

Mechanical contractor relies on Fleetio as its all-inclusive fleet database while integrating its maintenance shops and telematics devices

JW Danforth is a Northeast mechanical contractor founded in 1884 that operates a fleet of more than 170 assets supporting HVAC, plumbing, piping and controls work. The company struggled with fragmented spreadsheets, no single system of record, limited field access and manual vendor tracking, which made maintenance scheduling and asset visibility difficult.

JW Danforth adopted Fleetio as its all-inclusive fleet database and integrated it with telematics (Geotab) and Outsourced Maintenance Automation to centralize electronic repair orders, vendor billing and approvals. Automatic odometer, DTC and location data plus custom fields for non-vehicle equipment improved maintenance scheduling, dispatching and vendor management—reducing paperwork and downtime while giving the company clearer, actionable asset insights.
