Fueliner, a Dubuque, Iowa–based petroleum delivery company operating 39 Freightliner trucks, faced safety and compliance challenges after a 2009 rollover revealed a pattern of hard stops and hard braking. To better monitor driver behavior and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance, Fueliner selected FleetBoss and its Series 6000 telematics system to track speeding, harsh braking, cornering and driver hours across its multi-location fleet.

FleetBoss implemented the Series 6000 with an in-cab visual HOS display, event monitoring and weekly summary tools for dispatch, plus reporting features for driver coaching. As a result, Fueliner was able to prove DOT compliance by printing six months of driver logs, routinely check hours and locations, and use data-driven coaching and positive recognition to improve driving behavior and operational scheduling.
