Leading Restaurant Company, a North America-based restaurant owner known for innovative gourmet cuisine, needed help developing a prototype patty maker to replace time-consuming, uneven hand mixing. Flatworld Solutions was engaged to turn hand-drawn concept images into CAD drawings and a functional mechanical design that would meet quality, safety, and production-readiness requirements for both retail and in-house use.

Flatworld Solutions assembled a team of an account manager, quality analyst, and two designers to refine the concept, create CAD iterations, and test the product over a 24-week period. The result was a working prototype that passed functionality and risk analysis testing for load and power issues, and the customer was highly satisfied. Flatworld Solutions is now helping enhance the product with additional features.
