Construction Firm, a UK-based BIM consultant with 30 years of surveying experience, needed help reconstructing a textile mill before demolition. Missing original blueprints made the project difficult, so they required point cloud capture and conversion of architectural data into Revit models, including piping, wiring, and other MEP elements. Flatworld Solutions provided the point cloud to Revit conversion support.

Flatworld Solutions assigned a project manager, four drafters, and a BIM coordinator to work closely with the client and verify point cloud accuracy throughout the project. Using LOD 200, the team completed the full building model in about six weeks, helping the Construction Firm successfully rebuild the mill’s design data with accurate BIM output.
