Australian Energy Solutions Provider, based in Queensland, Australia, has spent 25 years delivering oil and gas solutions and needed support designing a new gas compressor. The challenge was to reduce the compressor’s size while still meeting changing performance, safety, and maintenance requirements, and keeping all required parts and standards in place. Flatworld Solutions provided engineering product design support for the project.

Flatworld Solutions assigned an account manager and three engineering product design experts to update piping, reduce skid size, and adjust the layout for easier maintenance access, using Autodesk Inventor and Acebrain. The team worked through weekly review meetings with the client and finalized the design requirements in 60 working days, helping the customer complete the product design process quickly while meeting complex operational and safety specifications.
