DNV Certified Design for Shipping Containers

Flatworld Solutions worked with Shipping Container Company, a large Egyptian manufacturer of shipping containers, to develop DNV-certified designs for offshore containers. The customer needed detailed, customized container architectures that met strict DNV 2.7-1 and 2.7-2 standards while also incorporating modern facilities and Egyptian design requirements.

Flatworld Solutions used ProE and AutoCAD, assembled a specialized DNV team, and had the final designs certified by DNV before delivery. The project resulted in successful certification of the mechanical, durability, structure, electrical, and instrumentation designs, and Shipping Container Company was satisfied with the final off-shore container designs.
