Ameriprise Financial, based in Minneapolis, needed a more interactive meeting solution than a “dumb display” to let advisors annotate over financial data, engage clients, and support hybrid or remote attendees. They selected FlatFrog’s InGlass touch technology (deployed in the Avocor WCD by Ultimate Technologies Group) because live annotation, shared editing and saving were mandatory features for effective advisor–client sessions.

FlatFrog’s InGlass touch was implemented on the Avocor WCD—an all‑in‑one display with built‑in camera, microphone and speakers (an Intel NUC was added)—to deliver out‑of‑the‑box videoconferencing and interactive whiteboarding. The FlatFrog-enabled solution enabled real-time two‑way annotation from both room and remote participants, preserved session data for sharing, increased client engagement and made hybrid meetings as effective as in‑person meetings while getting Ameriprise up and running quickly on WebEx, Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
