Wild Me, a non-profit organization fighting wildlife extinction, needed to efficiently import massive amounts of data from global researchers and citizen scientists into its Wildbook platform. Manually processing this data, including millions of photographs and related metadata, was extremely time-consuming. They turned to the vendor Flatfile and its data importer to solve this challenge.

By implementing Flatfile's data importer, Wild Me streamlined its bulk data upload process. The solution provided a user-friendly interface that helped users clean their data and eliminate common errors, drastically reducing prep time. This resulted in a tenfold time savings in data import and a significant reduction in developer hours spent on support tickets. As a grantee of the Flatfile Impact program, Wild Me also gained free access to this critical technology, allowing the organization to scale its conservation efforts more effectively.
