Resort At Squaw Creek - Customer Case Study

Resort At Squaw Creek, a Lake Tahoe resort offering lodging, skiing and golf amenities, faced lost parking revenue and operational blind spots when its open surface lot allowed non-guests to park for free during winter. They also could not integrate valet and PARCS operations for consolidated revenue and access reporting, and needed hardware that would withstand harsh snow and low temperatures. FlashParking was engaged to resolve these issues using its FlashPARCS and FlashValet solutions.

FlashParking deployed its cloud-based FlashValet and FlashPARCS platform with entry and exit Smart Stations, a pay-on-foot station, and a PMS integration. New gates and Smart Stations now require all parkers to pay, guest parking charges post to the hotel folio, and revenue posts to the PMS for easier reconciliation; the unified system also enables consolidated valet and PARCS reporting. As a result, FlashParking eliminated parking squatters, improved revenue capture and reconciliation, and provided equipment rated to operate in extreme temperatures.
