MercuryGate migrates to AWS, uses FlashGrid Cluster for transactional database high availability

MercuryGate, a provider of transportation management solutions, faced challenges with their on-premises database environment, which did not scale easily and had become an administrative burden due to VM sprawl. Seeking to consolidate hundreds of databases and retain high availability for their transactional processing, they partnered with SHI to migrate to AWS and chose FlashGrid Cluster with Oracle RAC from vendor FlashGrid.

The solution implemented by FlashGrid enabled the deployment of a highly available Oracle RAC cluster across multiple AWS availability zones. Using FlashGrid's automated deployment tools, MercuryGate was able to provision their first cluster in hours, achieving a scalable and manageable database foundation to support their rapid business growth.
