TradeConnex, a labour-hire provider for the building and construction industry, was onboarding new staff with paper forms and spreadsheets, a slow, error-prone process with duplicated checks and compliance risks around VISAs and labour laws. To streamline onboarding and improve compliance and candidate experience, TradeConnex selected Flare’s cloud-based HR platform for paperless, self-service onboarding.

Flare implemented a centralised, digital onboarding workflow where new hires complete details, upload documents, verify identity, and receive automated reminders; the platform also flags visa, licence and expiry issues to simplify audits. As a result, TradeConnex has reduced errors, saved time each week, automated much of the onboarding work and made compliance with VISA and labour laws far easier to manage using Flare.
