Case Study: ParkBee achieves cost savings, higher sales and a data-driven culture with Fivetran

A Fivetran Case Study

Preview of the ParkBee Case Study

Taking the Sting Out of ParkBee's Transition to a Data-Centric Culture

ParkBee, an Amsterdam-based platform that opens private car parks to the public, needed to become more data-driven to analyse parking availability, traffic patterns and user acquisition costs but was hampered by manual Google Sheets and ad-hoc SQL work. The company chose Fivetran (alongside Looker) to replace its hand-built ETL, leveraging Fivetran’s connectors to replicate sources like DynamoDB and ad platforms into PostgreSQL for faster, scalable data access.

Fivetran automated ParkBee’s data pipelines so Looker and pre-built Looker Blocks (AdWords, Zendesk) could deliver fast, accurate analysis across teams; this eliminated the need to hire a Data Engineer and Business Analyst, reduced operational spend, improved tracking of advertising spend and cost-per-acquisition, and helped the sales team upsell contracts from historical insights—boosting sales and embedding a data-driven culture.
