After struggling with a manually intensive pipeline, Spendesk selected Fivetran to replicate sources like MySQL, Postgres and MongoDB into Snowflake, aiming for a scalable, low‑maintenance integration layer.

Fivetran automated Spendesk’s ELT into Snowflake (with dbt for transformations and Looker for BI), eliminating manual sync work and adapting to schema changes. As a result, Fivetran freed roughly 40 hours of engineering time per week (about one full‑time engineer), recovered half of analysts’ time for deeper analysis, and enabled a self‑service data desk and rapid dashboards (e.g., COVID‑19 impact), improving speed and scale across the business.
