Red Ventures, a large professional services company, needed a faster, more scalable way to manage marketing data across separate client environments. Its data engineers were spending too much time writing custom ingestion scripts and handling complex ETL workloads, slowing down insights and limiting how many clients the team could support.

To solve this, Red Ventures implemented Databricks along with Fivetran and dbt to automate data ingestion and transformations across client-specific cloud stacks. With Fivetran, Red Ventures standardized ingestion and cut data integration work from 100–150 hours to about 10 hours per integration, reduced overnight processing jobs from up to 20 hours to 4–5 hours, and lowered troubleshooting time from 50% to under 20%. The efficiency gains helped Red Ventures support 30% more clients without adding headcount, while also improving client results through better data and AI-driven marketing.
