PostNL uses Fivetran for real-time data integration to Azure and AWS

PostNL, a major transportation and logistics company in Europe, needed to migrate its applications, data, and IT operations from on-premises systems to the cloud while keeping existing systems connected during the transition. The company also wanted to support integrations across multiple cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, and simplify management of hundreds of data interfaces. PostNL turned to Fivetran for real-time data integration.

Fivetran enabled PostNL to take a lift-and-shift approach, moving databases to Azure and AWS without changing applications and maintaining integrations throughout the migration. Using Fivetran as a centralized cloud integration hub, PostNL now manages more than 600 interfaces for tasks such as data replication, warehouse loading, and system synchronization. The result was a successful cloud migration with improved scalability, security, and operational efficiency, while reducing the burden of managing data integrations.
