Pleo, a fast‑growing company card solution, was struggling with a Postgres-based stack and custom HubSpot/Intercom integrations that consumed significant engineering time and prevented centralizing event and application data for analytics. To scale its data architecture and feed BigQuery, Pleo chose Fivetran to handle automated data ingestion and connector maintenance.
Fivetran deployed managed connectors, webhooks, and transformations to pull full historical datasets (millions of rows) into BigQuery, eliminating the need to hire roughly three additional data engineers and freeing Pleo’s team to build clean transformation layers and BI in Metabase. As a result, Pleo now runs faster cross-system queries, operates company and sales performance dashboards, and uses a multi‑touch marketing attribution dashboard for holistic channel insights instead of last‑touch attribution.
