Koh Cleans Up Data Strategy & Improves Retention

Koh, an eco-friendly home cleaning system founded in 2016, struggled as rapid growth outpaced its data capabilities—teams relied on disparate spreadsheets and gut instinct rather than a structured analytics approach. To centralize and automate data ingestion, Koh implemented Fivetran’s no-code pipeline to pull connectors (Shopify, Facebook, Google Ads, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.) into Google BigQuery and feed Tableau for reporting.

Using Fivetran to automate connectors and centralize data, Koh replaced manual exports with daily Tableau workbooks, hired a data scientist, and built predictive models for demand and retention. The modern stack enabled highly targeted campaigns that raised repeat customer rates from roughly 25% to over 50% (a ~25 percentage point gain), sped reporting from hours to automated dashboards, and shifted focus to acquisition/retention cost optimization.
