How Fivetran powers SKIMS’ fashion empire

SKIMS, the shapewear and clothing brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede, needed a faster, leaner way to unify huge amounts of data across marketing, web, e-commerce, operations, and product systems. As the company scaled rapidly, its DIY pipelines became unsustainable, and the team wanted a modern data stack built around Fivetran, Snowflake, and dbt.

Using Fivetran, SKIMS built more than 60 automated pipelines from sources like Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive, Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, NetSuite, and Google Analytics into Snowflake. This gave the team near real-time reporting every 15 minutes, improved product performance analysis, and enabled better planning, allocation, inventory management, and marketing measurement, including ROAS and CAC, all with a lean data team instead of several additional engineers.
