Honeycomb Builds Sweet & Scalable Data Foundation

Honeycomb, a leader in observability, faced a data analytics bottleneck: product events lived in MySQL while revenue and CRM data lived in Stripe and Salesforce, forcing engineers to stitch together manual CSVs and run multi-week projects to link usage with consumption. To build a scalable, low-maintenance data stack quickly, Honeycomb turned to Fivetran’s data integration pipeline (using pre-built connectors into Snowflake) and even started on a flexible credit-card billing option to trial the service.

Fivetran deployed zero-maintenance connectors for HubSpot, Intercom, MySQL, Salesforce and Stripe into Snowflake, enabling Honeycomb to centralize data and power Mode dashboards. As a result, Honeycomb avoided hiring one to two ETL engineers and months of work, gained reliable, up-to-date MRR/ARR and customer-health reporting, and empowered sales and product teams to build their own dashboards—outcomes that convinced Honeycomb to move from the trial to an annual Fivetran contract.
