GuruShots, a photo‑sharing and competition platform generating over three billion votes per month, struggled to centralise massive event data and relied on fragile custom scripts, MySQL backups and manual migrations to Snowflake. After trialling seven options, the team selected Fivetran (alongside Snowflake and Tableau) for its ability to reliably sync historical data, handle row updates, and provide a clear, upfront pricing model.
