Legacy MySQL reporting was sluggish and made ad hoc analysis cumbersome, so Sharethrough adopted Fivetran’s secure, zero-maintenance data pipeline to replicate contextual application data into a central warehouse for analysis.

Fivetran replicated Sharethrough’s metadata (including Salesforce, Google Sheets and application databases) into Snowflake, letting analysts join events with customer and product context via SQL and BI tools like MicroStrategy. The solution delivered much faster ad‑hoc queries, a unified analytic dataset, virtually zero engineering maintenance, and quicker detection of customer issues—enabling Sharethrough to scale context-driven analytics and make faster, data-informed decisions. Fivetran’s pipeline was pivotal in centralizing context and freeing analysts to focus on insights.
