Exporo Leaves ELT to Fivetran, Invests in a Data Culture

Exporo, a German real estate crowdfunding platform, struggled to scale its BI as the business grew: engineers spent too much time building and maintaining custom API pipelines and analysts lacked access to many data sources. To address this, Exporo implemented Fivetran’s pipeline solution—using Fivetran’s pre-built connectors, Function (Lambda) connector and Transformations—to centralize data into Snowflake and power analytics with Looker.

Fivetran automated replication from sources like Aurora MySQL, Asana, Salesforce and webhooks into Snowflake, enabling a self-service BI model in Looker. With Fivetran, Exporo reclaimed 50% of engineering time, nearly doubled active Looker users, expanded transactional database integrations from two to five, and sped up access to Salesforce and event data—freeing the BI team to tackle larger, higher-value projects.
