DPD Polska delivers 200M parcels annually with Fivetran and Goldenore

DPD Polska, part of DPDGroup and one of Europe’s leading courier networks, delivers 200 million parcels a year and needed a better way to move data from production into analytics, testing, and disaster recovery environments without affecting source systems. Before working with Fivetran, the company relied on a mix of on-premises PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server databases, which created delays, manual errors, and limits on reporting and scalability.

Working with Goldenore, DPD Polska implemented Fivetran’s high-volume log-based replication to move data in near real time from PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server into Oracle DB on-premise, PostgreSQL on-premise, and Microsoft Azure. The result was faster and more reliable access to business data, support for real-time analytics and reporting, safer testing on production data, and stronger disaster recovery with sub-one-hour recovery time objectives.
