Code2College leverages data to give students more voice

Code2College is a nonprofit that helps low-income and minority students access technology and STEM career paths. As the organization grew, its student attendance, grades, teacher input, and survey feedback were scattered across spreadsheets and manual processes, making it difficult for a small data team to answer basic questions quickly or trust the information they were using. To centralize its data, Code2College turned to Fivetran and its ELT platform to move data from sources like Salesforce, Canvas, and Google Drive into BigQuery.

With Fivetran, Code2College set up automated, reliable data pipelines that refreshed information regularly and reduced data retrieval from a full day of work to less than five minutes. The nonprofit also adopted Fivetran’s Free Plan, helping it improve performance at zero cost while enabling faster analysis, quicker support for students, and better-informed decisions about curriculum and learning environments. Fivetran now gives Code2College a scalable data foundation expected to support growth for the next 5 to 10 years.
