Cemex connects 1,800+ global facilities in real-time

CEMEX, a global construction materials company with more than 1,800 facilities and 46,000 employees, needed a faster and more scalable way to deliver data from its SAP-centric environment. Using Fivetran, CEMEX aimed to move from batch-based, day-old reporting to near real-time insights across sales, commercial, supply chain, and sustainability data.

With Fivetran feeding Snowflake and Power BI, CEMEX rapidly integrated more than 4,000 SAP tables and reduced data processing time from weeks to near real-time. The company also cut manual ingestion setup and maintenance work by 90%, enabled more than 10,000 users to make daily decisions from data, and built a CO2 model to monitor emissions across all facilities.
