Cars24, a 2,000+ employee pre-owned vehicle ecommerce company in India, was struggling with an in-house MySQL “warehouse” that frequently went down and couldn’t scale to meet growing analytics demand. Building a custom pipeline was estimated to require five or six engineers over four months plus ongoing maintenance, so Cars24 sought an off-the-shelf data replication solution and evaluated Fivetran to move data reliably into a modern warehouse (Snowflake).
