Brandwatch, a social media intelligence platform, needed better internal performance metrics and wanted to join product usage in Mixpanel with customer data in Salesforce to track adoption and feature impact. Manual Excel exports and mashups were slow and limited, so Brandwatch chose Fivetran’s fully managed data pipeline (feeding Google BigQuery and surfaced in Looker) to centralize and automate its analytics stack.
Fivetran replicated Mixpanel and Salesforce into BigQuery and connected to Looker in about 15 minutes, delivering automated dashboards that saved roughly 4 hours a week on minor reports and up to 40 hours a week on extensive reporting. The Fivetran-powered pipeline gave developers and account managers real-time visibility into usage, enabled departmental metrics, deal velocity, user engagement and retention analysis, faster time-to-value, and helped create a data-driven culture at Brandwatch.
