Aceable Switches From Alooma to Fivetran, Eliminates ETL Maintenance

Aceable, an Austin‑based online education startup, needed to scale its data architecture after Alooma announced it was sunsetting services for Redshift customers. The company struggled with schema changes, manual backfills and an unfinished MongoDB integration that required engineering time. Aceable selected Fivetran for automated data integration (connectors and Transformations) to centralize sources into Amazon Redshift and enable self‑service analytics in Looker.

Fivetran deployed connectors (including MongoDB, marketing APIs and Jira), Fivetran Transformations and the Fivetran Log connector to stream data into Redshift and feed Looker dashboards. The switch let Aceable integrate all sources and start reporting within a week, add org‑wide Jira tracking, and eliminate most maintenance — reclaiming roughly 80–90% of the time previously spent on pipeline configuration and troubleshooting.
