Zip, a global buy now, pay later company, needed a better way to unify customer data from marketing, product engagement, and purchase history so it could deliver consistent, targeted experiences across Braze and the Zip app. The company also wanted more granular audience segmentation for merchant offers, but its existing setup couldn’t support unified audiences or self-service targeting.
Fivetran helped Zip build a modern data stack on Snowflake, dbt, and Snowplow, with Fivetran handling third-party data ingestion and Fivetran Activations powering audience creation and syncs. As a result, Zip scaled data operations cost-effectively, improved segmentation and personalization, accelerated campaign execution with self-service audience building, and created a single customer 360 to drive more consistent, personalized experiences across channels.
