With 24/7 operations, geographic dispersion, a 600‑page user manual, and high staff turnover requiring on-demand onboarding, the Airforce engaged Fivel to provide a more efficient, role‑specific training approach.
Fivel delivered an on-demand microlearning program—eight 5‑minute Learning Moments with retention exercises and scheduling managed by a Fivel Learning Manager—so staff could train at their convenience. The solution eliminated travel and complex scheduling, cut training delivery costs by 50%, enabled immediate onboarding of new personnel, improved learner retention and ease of use, and was later rolled out to other branches of the U.S. military.
