A Fitzgerald HR Case Study
Libraries Unlimited, a charity and independent library operator across Devon and Torbay, approached Fitzgerald HR in 2018 to develop a reward and recognition strategy that reflected its values, supported different terms and conditions across its workforce, and fit its financial needs. With around 380 staff and significant growth, the organisation needed a sensitive, externally supported review ahead of the next annual budget cycle.
Over six weeks, Fitzgerald HR delivered a reward and recognition consultancy project that included staff focus groups, an employee survey, salary benchmarking, and discussions with senior leaders, unions, and staff forums. Fitzgerald HR produced a clear report with recommendations on pay, benefits, and recognition that was well received across the organisation and by the Board, helping Libraries Unlimited make informed decisions for its next financial year.
