Quality Pet Products, a 15-employee wholesale pet food distributor serving 400+ stores across six states, faced four key challenges: reduce operational time and cost, meet a manufacturer requirement for AIB certification, consolidate multiple warehouse/inventory apps into one solution, and build web-based order entry while staying on QuickBooks. Fishbowl Inventory implemented Fishbowl Manufacturing (with its EZ Connector) integrated with QuickBooks to handle lot/serial tracking, weight calculations, pick-ticketing, and bill-of-lading workflows and to feed online orders directly into the system. As a result, Quality Pet Products saved the equivalent of 16 operational hours per day, achieved AIB certification, eliminated separate third-party software, and enabled online ordering that removed double entry.
